    Hello Everyone,
First let me introduce myself.  My name is Greg and I would like to admit to being a complete newbie.  In fact before I started searching Google a couple of hours ago I didn't even know there was a programming language called Delphi...I actually only started my first C++ class this semester.  In other words I'm about as green as they come.

So here's my situation.  I have a file with the .FLS extension that I'm trying to open and get some idea of what's inside.  The file is from an ECM from a vehicle that a friend and I are playing with.  My google search says that the .FLS extension could be a DBdemos file.  I began searching DBdemos on google and find that it is associated to Delphi.

After researching Delphi for a while I read a link that said the language was similar to C.  This makes sense to me as I've also read that some ECM's might use C as their programming language.  I have tried to open the file using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010.  This is a small cut/paste of the first several lines of what opened up (the same text was shown win I opened it with notepad) :

I then searched for a forum to beg for some guidance and that's how I got here.  I'm hoping that you folks can give me some help as to how to open/read/convert/or whatever the file so that I may see what's inside.  It's possible that I'm chasing a unicorn here and that whatever I find inside is still completely unusable to me but right now I've kinda hit a roadbHIDE-THANKS and I'm not sure what I even need to google search for next.

So does anyone have any guidance for me?

    Thanks
    Greg
